At the end of November, Wood Floor Partners had the chance to start a new construction site. And not just any building site, the future Conservatoire à Rayonnement Intercommunal (CRI) of the Baie de Somme in Abbeville. The Baie de Somme agglomeration includes 43 municipalities with more than 50,000 inhabitants.
It will open its doors in 2021, and in the meantime, work is continuing in order to welcome the 700 future music and dance students.
Mr. Vandecaveye and Mr. Cloez went to launch the beginning of the works for Wood Floor Partners. The building site includes various elements:
The installation of parquet with a Junckers oil finish under the sports structure for the classical dance room (first photo below).
Juncker ultra matte varnished parquet under the sports structure for the modern dance room
Junckers parquet in glued installation in the different instrument practice rooms.
Concerning the progress of the work, the classical dance room is completely finished and the levelling has been applied in the modern dance room (second photo below), it is necessary that it is completely dry to then lay the parquet. The music rooms will be done in a second time.
